Returns & Refund Policy

At Able Boats, we aim to provide a fair and flexible returns and refund policy for our sail training courses. Please read the following carefully to understand our terms.

Credits for Future Courses

• Refunds are at Able Boats’ discretion; on a case-by-case basis, we may offer a credit towards future courses instead of a refund.
• Credits are valid 12 months from the original course start date and can be applied to any eligible sail training course Able Boats offers.

Cancellation and Refund Rules

• Cancellation received 30 days before the course start date: You are eligible for a full refund of the course fees.
• Cancellation received 15 days before the course start date: You will receive a 50% refund of the course fees.
• Cancellation received less than 15 days before the course start date: No refund will be provided. However, you may opt to receive a credit for the full course fee, which can be applied towards a future course.
• The refunds will be processed within 3-7 working days, as applicable.
• The credits will be reviewed and processed within 2-3 working days.

Missed Sessions

• Training sessions must be completed as per the course schedule.
• Missed sessions cannot be carried forward, repeated, or refunded.
• Ensure you attend all scheduled sessions to fulfil the course requirements.

Bad Weather Policy

Course Adjustments Due to Weather:

• In rare cases where weather conditions pose a safety risk, session times may be adjusted or rescheduled. Such changes are at the discretion of the course instructor.
• No refunds or credits will be issued for sessions affected by weather. Rescheduling will be done in consideration of safe and suitable sailing conditions.
